Paralegal Program Offering Two Popular Courses During Summer Term

SPARTANBURG, SC - Two of the most popular courses within the Spartanburg Methodist College Paralegal Program are being offered again during the program's upcoming 2010 summer term.

The courses being offered include: Forensics - Crime Scene Investigations, Criminalistics, and the Law; and Law and Film.

The registration deadline to sign up for the program's Summer Term is June 9. The term begins on Tuesday, June 15 and runs until Aug. 26.

A total of 20 courses, with each course meeting 10 times, and a 40-hour internship are required for completion of SMC's Paralegal Certification Program. All legal specialty courses within the program are taught by local judges, attorneys and/or paralegals.

The cost for each 10-session course is $300, however, the general public is welcome to audit a 10-session course for only $150.

Spartanburg Methodist College is in its 99th year of providing quality education to students in a Christian environment. More than 90 percent of SMC graduates continue their education at other institutions of higher learning.
