"I am pleased to welcome Bob to this important role at SMC. His experience in major gifts, campaigns, planned gifts and institutional advancement work in general has resulted in his rich understanding of the best practices related to such operations. We are fortunate to have him with us as we move into our second century of providing quality higher education in the Upstate region," says SMC President Dr. Colleen Keith.

He supervises several departments that fall under Institutional Advancement including Development, Major Gifts, Church Relations, and Alumni Relations.

"I'm excited to be a member of Dr. Keith's leadership team at SMC.  My initial impressions that SMC has tremendous potential are already becoming reinforced by evidence.  The folks in Institutional Advancement are dedicated, motivated, and ready to achieve great heights.  We are confident that we can build upon a terrific foundation of giving and support through both some new approaches and a rededication to some tries and true approaches.  All SMC alumni and friends can expect greater contact and more opportunities for involvement in the coming months and years," says Fuzy.
