SMC Freshmen Provide Service to Spartanburg Community
08/21/10 Nearly 500 Freshmen from Spartanburg Methodist College spread out across Spartanburg County on Saturday as part of the college's 10th annual Freshmen Day of Service (FDOS).
Class of 2012 Moves In at SMC
08/20/10 Spartanburg Methodist College opened its residence halls on Friday to the newest class of Freshmen and another year of an expected 800+ enrollment.

Party on the Plaza
09/09/10 ( ) SMC will hold a campus party during the evening of Sept. 9 in the plaza in front of the Burgess Student Center to celebrate the inauguration of College President Dr. Colleen Keith, which will be held the following day.
CollegeFest 2010
09/17/10 ( 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm) SMC students are invited to CollegeFest 2010 --- a free event to kick off the academic year which is open only to students from all six colleges in Spartanburg. It will be held Sept. 17 at the Denny's Plaza in downtown Spartanburg.
Barry Drake: History of Rock and Roll... the 1960s
09/20/10 ( 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm) Barry Drake, one of Rock and Roll's foremost historians, will present an entertaining and insightful look how that genre of music helped 1960s America.
2010 Homecoming / Family Day
11/13/10 ( 8:00 am) The 2010 Homecoming at SMC will be a special one as it will be one of the first signature events tied in with the celebration of the College's Centennial Celebration.
