                                       Volleyball Matches Rescheduled
                                                     Tri-Match To Be Held On Sunday

SPARTANBURG, SC –  With the threat of tropical storm Hanna looming over eastern North Carolina the volleyball matches with Lenoir CC and Pitt CC have been moved to Sunday in Greenville, NC as a tri-match.

SMC was originally supposed to play Lenoir CC in a Friday match at 7pm and Pitt CC Saturday at 2pm. 

With the threat of severe weather from Hanna due to move into North Carolina Friday night and Saturday officials at the three schools decided to move the matches to Sunday and into a tri-match format.

On Sunday, SMC will play Pitt at 2pm and Lenoir at 4pm. 

Please check back for any updates as tropical storm Hanna moves closer to landfall.

Spartanburg Methodist College has 14 intercollegiate teams that compete in Region X of the National Junior College Athletic Association, which includes colleges in the Carolinas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
